It has become my tradition to make my dog’s Halloween costumes myself. I find it really fun and it helps me practice my sewing. I am really happy with how their costumes came out this year. :)

On the 19th May 2010, Lennox, a now six year old American Bull dog Labrador cross was wrongfully seized by Belfast City Council Dog Wardens from his loving family home where he lives with his owners and his kennel mates. Lennox committed no crime nor did any member of the public complain about him.

Hey, it’s September! Which means I have a few illustrations I can get to share, including the children’s book I finished over winter. I have to update the website for that though. But in the meantime, this summer was a good time to draw dogs; the first was a piece for <i>Rhode Island Monthly</i> about ‘yappy hour’ for dogs, and the second was for <i>Vegetarian Times</i> (about exercising with your pet). I love drawing animals, so it’s a no brainer.
I’m hoping to eke out some time to develop some personal projects over the fall… stay tuned.
