DCnU Reboot
For all those who have asked, unfortunately I am not apart of the reboot at DC. I can't go into details right now so I have to leave it at that. I want to thank you all for the kind words to my work and for sure you'll see me again on a DC book.
- I personally think this is one of the biggest mistakes DC did. With all this talk about attracting a new and younger audience they don't include an artist who attracts this kind of audience to comics. I have been lucky enough to sit beside Marcus at many shows and over 90% of the people that come to his table are teenagers and young adults. At least 70% (if not 80%) of this are girls. They love how he portrays Red Robin, they love his work. His brings the youthfulness that I feel DC is lacking. I am not saying this because Marcus is a close friend of mine, I am saying this from what I see with my own eyes. I feel that if the re-lance books don't give some of their books the feel that Marcus was able to bring to Red Robin they will not tap into youth and female audience the way Marcus has. I say, we keep retweeting and show DC what a mistake they have made. Better give him something super cool after this. - Agnes. Sorry Marcus I had to say something, I am both a friend and a fan.
Thanks for that Agnes, you are seriously one of my biggest cheer leaders and I thank you
-I agree 100% with Agnes here. It really worries me when DC releases all these new titles and potential /specifically/ to entice new readers, and ignores someone as talented and RELIABLE as Marcus. Please keep reblogging and talking about this.
Cover of Supergirl #1
dcwomenkickingass:
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Oh my God I can’t even take it any more. Please stop with these costume designs. Why does everyone have collars? Oh, wait is that Tim Drake’s old cape? And why does Supergirl need those boots? Anyways at least there still is a Supergirl.
It’s an alright redesign. I don’t get why there has to be an area of red to highlight her um lower...

The most memorable moments in DC history for...
dcwomenkickingass:
What I’ve enjoyed about this series, other than the fantastic writing and insight, is having people who have a love for certain characters write about them. One of things I love about comics is the personal connection people have with characters. Where I have been able, I’ve invited guest posters to write about characters that I know they have an affinity for. Today’s guest...
